One God, One Faith, One School
Welcome to the Third Grade
Ms. Kay Pemberton Teacher
Welcome
Hello! I am Kay Pemberton, and look forward to working with your child in Third Grade this year. Catholic education has always been part of my life. I attended a Catholic school from First through 12th grade.I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercy College in Detroit. My Masters degree was earned at MSU.
I chose to teach in a Catholic school because it was important to me to be in a Christ-centered environment.
I began my teaching career at St. Mary School in Williamston where I taught First Grade for 18 years. I came to IHM in 1991 to teach Second Grade. After 12 years, I moved up to Third Grade. This is my fifth year at this level. That’s a total of 35 years of teaching!
I make my home in Williamston. I love the small town atmosphere I enjoy exercising at the “Y”, bike riding, and taking walks.
