Affordability - Tuition Info

Choosing a school for your child is not an easy decision. Your child needs a solid K-8 foundation to ensure their future performance in high school, college and beyond. Academics, social development, arts, physical education and citizenship are all key building blocks for that foundation, and are provided by most schools to some degree. Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish School is different from other schools because we add spiritual development to the mix in the form of Roman Catholic religious instruction. God gets equal time in our classrooms! Students attend Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church one day a week during the school year, plus Holy Days of Obligation when in session. Additionally, all students participate in age-appropriate service projects, which vary by grade and season.

Mary Goeddeke Funds

The in-house Mary Goeddeke Education Fund was set up in honor of a school teacher and administrator who died suddenly in 1988.  This fund provides approximately $28,000 a year in tuition assistance to our school families.  Application must be made through the Diocesan FACTS Management application process.

The fund is replenished through the annual fall Walk-a-thon; a November Annual Appeal and the spring Alumni Basketball Game.  Families who receive grants are expected to give back through volunteering with these efforts

(Tuition Reduction Incentive Programs)

Discover how easy it is to earn tuition credits while making everyday purchases with
the IHM School T.R.I.P. Program (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program).

T.R.I.P. is a program in which families order gift certificates through IHM School to shop at area grocery and retail stores and online. Families pay face value for the certificates. The school then orders the certificates at a discounted rate through Great Lakes Scrip Company. This discounted amount, (less a small administrative fee), is passed on to each individual family in the form of tuition credit or cash back. T.R.I.P. certificates are used the same as cash; you can buy anything in the store that you would normally buy with a check, cash or credit card. You may also use store/manufacturer coupons as you normally do. Most stores do not allow you to use the certificates to pay charge account statements. Always carefully review merchant policies by logging onto
