Leah Hinman

Leah Hinman has been a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish since 1968. A graduate from the former Resurrection High School in Lansing, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nazareth College, Nazareth, Michigan and a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Leah worked at McClaren Hospital Lansing, St, Mary Hospital Grand Rapids before joining the Michigan Education Special Services Association (MESSA) where she supervised various departments including Medical Case Management, Hospital Admissions, Disease Management and Wellness and Health Education. She also served in the United States Navy Reserve, Nurse Corps. 

She was commissioned by Bishop Carl Mengeling as a Lay Ecclesial Minister and is an Associate of the Congregation of St. Joseph.
